My Aim in Life

My Future Plan of Life (or) My Aim in Life

Every person (ব্যক্তি/মানুষ) should have an aim (লক্ষ্য/উদ্দেশ্য) in life. A person without an aim is like a boat (নৌকা) without a boatman (মাঝি). It cannot reach (পৌঁছাতে পারে না) its goal (গন্তব্য/লক্ষ্য). We must have an aim to do something good (ভালো) in life.

I am a student. I have decided (স্থির করেছি) what I want to be in the future (ভবিষ্যৎ). I want to be a doctor (ডাক্তার/চিকিৎসক). My parents (বাবা-মা) also want me to be a doctor. I want to help (সাহায্য করতে) the poor (গরীব/দুস্থ) and sick people (অসুস্থ মানুষ) in my village (গ্রাম).

Many people in our village are poor. They cannot go to good doctors or buy medicine (ঔষধ কিনতে). There are very few hospitals (হাসপাতাল) in our area. When I see their pain (কষ্ট/যন্ত্রণা), I feel sad (দুঃখিত বোধ করি). So, I want to be a doctor and help them with love and care (স্নেহ ও যত্ন).

After passing (পাশ করার পর) class ten, I will study science (বিজ্ঞান পড়ব). Then I will go to a medical college (মেডিকেল কলেজ). When I become a doctor, I will work (কাজ) in my village. I will not take money from the poor people. I will serve (সেবা করব) them kindly (দয়ালুভাবে).

I believe (বিশ্বাস করি) helping others is the best way to be happy (সুখী) in life.

My Future Plan of Life

Or

My Aim in Life

Introduction: A man without an aim is like a boat without a boatman. No man can succeed in life without it. A fixed aim helps a man to succeed in life. So, every man should have an aim in life. It is a great virtue.

My aim in life: Different men have different aims in life. Some want to be high officials or scholars or poets. Someone wants to be a doctor or an engineer or a teacher. I am a student. I have a definite aim of my life. The aim is to serve the poor villagers. So, I have decided to become a doctor. My parents also inspire me to be a doctor.

Reasons of my choice: Most of the people of our village are poor and illiterate. Good doctors are not available in the villages. So, people cannot see a good doctor when they become sick. They have to depend on uneducated village doctors or on fakirs. So, they suffer from many diseases and die a premature death. When I observe their miseries, my heart fills with profound grief. I cannot bear it at all. I want to help them. So, I have decided to be a doctor and serve them.

My preparation and promise: I shall take up science in my SSC and HSC courses. When I have passed the H.S.C examination, I shall get myself admitted into a Medical College for M.B.B.S. After having M.B.B.S, I shall go to London for F.R.C.S. Then I shall come back to my village and set up a charitable hospital. My father will help me to set up a hospital in our village. I shall take no fee from the poor. I shall take a little fee from the rich and use the money to help the poor.

Conclusion: Success in life depends on the proper choice of profession. So, we should do it carefully.
